Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 7, 2026

1. Overview

Veracity (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a real-time AI sales coaching platform consisting of a desktop application and a web portal. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile image via our authentication provider (Clerk).

Meeting Data

During active calls, the desktop application captures audio from your microphone and system audio (speakers) for real-time transcription. We process and store:

  • Transcripts of your sales calls
  • AI-generated recaps, scorecards, and coaching notes
  • Meeting metadata (date, duration, company name, participants)
  • Diagnostic assessments and follow-up emails

Documents

You may upload documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT) containing product information, competitive intelligence, or sales materials. These documents are parsed and stored for AI-powered retrieval during calls.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage metrics including API call counts, token usage, and session duration to monitor system performance and manage costs.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide real-time AI coaching during sales calls
  • Generate post-call recaps, scorecards, and improvement recommendations
  • Track your performance trends over time
  • Retrieve relevant information from your uploaded documents
  • Improve our AI models and service quality

4. Audio Handling

Audio is never stored by Veracity. Audio from your microphone and system speakers is streamed directly to Deepgram for real-time transcription. Once transcribed, the audio data is discarded. Only the text transcript is retained.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to process your data:

Deepgram — Real-time speech-to-text transcription
Anthropic (Claude) — AI coaching, analysis, and recap generation
OpenAI — Text embeddings and supplementary AI processing
Tavily & Perplexity — Web research for pre-call intelligence
Clerk — Authentication and session management
Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting (US region)
Vercel — Web application hosting and deployment

Each third-party service processes data according to their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies for additional details.

6. Data Storage & Location

Your data is stored on US-hosted servers. Meeting data, documents, and account information are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. The web portal is hosted on Vercel's global edge network.

7. Data Retention

Your meeting data, documents, and account information are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual meetings or documents at any time through the portal. To request complete account deletion, contact us at the address below.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management via Clerk. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are set.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your meeting data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), authentication via Clerk, role-based access controls, and rate limiting on API endpoints. The desktop application uses Electron's context isolation and content security policies to protect against code injection.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
